Workshops and Training

I offer evidence-informed, lived experience–led training that equips professionals, parents, and communities to better support trans and gender diverse people, including those who are also neurodivergent and/or experiencing eating disorders. My sessions combine research, clinical insight, lived experience, and practical strategies to ensure participants feel confident in their ability to provide affirming, effective, and compassionate support.

Supporting Trans and Gender Diverse People with Eating Disorders

This training provides a deep understanding of how eating disorders affect trans and gender diverse people, and how best to respond in affirming and effective ways. Participants will learn about risk and protective factors, treatment considerations, and community-informed strategies for support.

Supporting Your Trans Child with Disordered Eating

This training is designed specifically for parents and carers who want to better support their trans child with eating challenges. It covers how to recognise warning signs, start supportive conversations, and respond with empathy while accessing appropriate care.

Neurodivergence, Gender Diversity, and Eating Disorders

This training explores the complex intersections of neurodivergence, gender diversity, and eating disorders and identifies the unique factors that contribute to disordered eating in this population including gender dysphoria, minority stressors, sensory processing differences, executive functioning challenges, and barriers to support.

Supporting Autistic Trans and Gender Diverse People

This training explores the intersections of Autism and gender diversity, with a focus on the unique needs, challenges, and strengths of Autistic trans people. It offers practical tools for building inclusive, neuro-affirming, and gender-affirming environments.
